OPERATIONAL AREA IN INDIA
The Ursuline Sisters are working in the states of Jharkhand, Chattisgrah, Odisha, M.P, U.P, Delhi, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, W. Bengal, Bihar, Kerala, Andamans & British Guyana; in the field of Education, Health Care, Socio-Economic Development, Empowerment of women & girls from weaker sections of Society, Domestic Workers, Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labor. The Ursulines are working mostly in rural areas for the development of the Tribals, the Vulnerable and the Marginalized.
The Ursulines in India were divided into three Provinces with headquarters at RANCHI, GUMLA & AMBIKAPUR for better administration & effective service to the people. In 2012, TEZPUR was made the 4th Province.
